HealthNet Aeromedical Services Appoints Mullins to Board of Directors
Michael Mullins, FACHE, has been appointed to the HealthNet Aeromedical Services Board of Directors representing Cabell Huntington Hospital.
In 2019, Mullins accepted the position of President and Chief Executive Officer for Mountain Health Network bringing more than 30 years of hospital leadership experience to our region.

Mullins has served as Senior Vice President of Ascension Healthcare and CEO/Ministry Market Executive for Via Christi in Kansas, and St. John’s Health in Oklahoma. He served as Regional Vice President of Quorum Health’s Colorado region and held chief executive officer positions for Community Health Systems and Triad Hospitals. He led Gateway Health System in Clarksville, Tennessee; Kosciusko Community Hospital in Warsaw, Indiana; and Unimed Medical Center – St. Joseph's Hospital in Minot, North Dakota.
Mullins is a retired Captain of the Medical Service Corps, United States Naval Reserves, where he served for 28 years including in Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. He holds a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Trinity University, San Antonio, and a bachelor’s degree in political science from University of Texas at El Paso. He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
